In developing the new UC Series, warewashing specialist Winterhalter Gastronom has completely reengineered its range of undercounter dishwashers and glasswashers. Winterhalter leads the undercounter sector in terms of both sales and technology. The company describes its new models as 'dream machines' because a key source of ideas during their development was an in-depth survey of what customers wanted in their ideal, perfect machines. The UC Series represents technology created for the customer, as specified by the customer. They are tailored, customised dishwashing and glasswashing solutions that meet all the caterer's desires.
Every catering site has its own specific requirements from warewashers, from the type of tableware and glassware to the space available. Winterhalter's UC Series machines are designed to meet exactly all the widely differing needs of the foodservice industry. That's why these undercounter warewashers can be individually configured in three steps. First, customers choose between four machine types: glasswashers, dish-washers, bistro and cutlery machines. Second, all machines come in four sizes - S, M, L and XL - so they can be matched to the amount of space available on-site and the types of ware being washed.
When the type and size of the machine have been decided the third step involves choosing the special features, such as the Cool or ReTemp model for glasswashers. And, for the first time in the undercounter sector, Winterhalter offers its proven patented and award-winning 'Energy' heat recovery system. The 'Energy' technology extracts the steam directly from the machine's interior and uses its energy to heat up the cold feed water.
This saves dishwasher energy costs of up to €467 per year, is environmentally friendly and substantially improves the room's environment. This last aspect is especially important in bar areas.
