Winterhalter is proud to present the new RoMatik XS reverse osmosis system, an ideal complement to the UC Series of undercounter dishwashers. This compact water treatment unit ensures excellent water quality with very small space requirements, helping to guarantee perfect dishwashing results without the need for polishing.

The external unit can be installed in a vertical or horizontal position, on top of or next to the dishwasher. The RoMatik XS unit is an ideal solution for UC series undercounter dishwashers which are used in bar areas.

A compact, integrated prefilter, which can be easily replaced by the customer, removes solid particles, chlorine and other water contents. This helps to extend the useful life of the membrane and achieve excellent water quality over a very long period of time.

Thanks to the steadily high yield of osmosis water of up to 60%, the RoMatik XS system keeps the amount of waste water to a minimum, ensures low operating costs and thus helps to conserve precious resources.

RoMatik XS can be fine tuned to the local water conditions and is outfitted with a function for monitoring water quality. Its high level of efficiency, easy-to-service design and durability guarantee continuously low operating and maintenance costs.

Why use reverse osmosis?

Raw water can have lots of things in it that leave residues on wares and in the dishwashing machine itself. For example, this can lead to spots on the glasses or cutlery. Furthermore, it can impair the operation of the dishwasher, due to limescale deposits for instance.

High-quality water treatment using reverse osmosis involves filtering the water through various membranes, which helps to ensure that no residues are left on the glasses, cutlery and dishes after washing. Use of water treatment systems also obviates the need for unhygienic, time-consuming polishing. Working with the full system of Winterhalter warewashers, highly effective Winterhalter detergents and hygiene products and the right racks can guarantee perfect dishwashing results.
