Bjurab Sweden was founded in 1981 as a family-owned company. Over its 25-year history, Bjurab has become a unique and specialized manufacturer of projection screens. In 2002, Bjurab became a subsidiary of Draper, Inc. Located in Indiana, USA, Draper is among the world's leading manufacturers of projection screens, window shades and gymnasium equipment.

Bjurab has grown to become one of Europe's leading projection screen manufacturers. We produce over 80,000 units per year, with a staff of 35. Our office and production facility is located in Halmstad, Sweden.

REACT PROJECTION SCREEN MATERIAL

ReAct is a new projection screen material developed by Bjurab to obtain maximum contrast and the most correct colour rendition for a vastly improved viewing experience. The material is composed of two layers; a rear layer of silver, and a front layer of a specially developed coating. The rear silver layer produces truly high contrast for optimal black level images. The front layer eliminates reflections of lights from the surroundings while boosting the white level. The combination of these layers will give you the optimal contrast level while keeping the colour correct.

DIFFUSION SCREENS

Diffusion screens are the most common alternative when rear projection solutions are needed. Our diffusion screens are specially made for window displays or indoor usage in controlled lighting areas. Diffusion screens have a special surface that absorbs daylight and makes rear projection in windows possible. With a rear projection solution, there is no need to have expensive products lying in your store window. Instead of tempting thieves, commercial movies or multimedia experiences can attract shoppers’ interest.

THE DIPLOMAT SCREEN RANGE

The Diplomat screen range, featuring a new "3D" design, is one of the most flexible screens on the market and one of the easiest to install. The diplomat range combines exquisite design capable of impressing even the most discerning architect with quality and functionality. The Diplomat is suitable for any environment, including conference rooms, educational facilities and home theatres.

BLACK LINE HOME CINEMA RANGE

The Black Line range takes your home cinema to the edge. Rather than the standard matte white viewing surface, Black Line offers a black case with black edges all around the viewing surface, either in video, widescreen or cinemascope format. For more vivid colours and greater contrast in the image, customers can choose GreyLight or ReAct screen material.
