SIERRA – MATRIX SWITCHERS FOR HOTEL SIGNAL MANAGEMENT

Kramer offers a large range of presentation matrix switchers. Its large switchers, bearing the Sierra brand, start from 8x4 (8 inputs, 4 outputs) and go up to 64x64 and larger. The switchers handle signal types from composite video to analog (RGBHV), digital and HD signals.

Aside from being rugged, reliable, responsive, and relatively inexpensive, Sierra's matrix switchers offer IP connectivity and high bandwidth rates of over 450MHz.

In addition, they possess two unique features found only in Sierra switchers: room grouping of inputs for flexible configuration in multi-room applications and Matrix Mapping Universal Breakaway™ switching for multi-format use. Both of these elements directly contribute to the fact that one can satisfy the hotel’s switching needs with a smaller Sierra matrix switcher than with others.

TWISTED PAIR – LONG DISTANCE SIGNAL TRANSMISSION FOR HOTELS

As one of the innovators of this technology, Kramer possesses a vast range of twisted pair products, which allow for the transmission of electronic signals over twisted-pair wire as opposed to coaxial cable. This enables signals to be carried for much longer distances at much lower prices, ideal for demanding hotel environments.

There is a product in Kramer's wide range of Twisted Pair (TP) products to transmit any of the various signal types, including: VGA/UXGA, CV, YC, YUV, HD, and firewire. The vast majority of Kramer's TP products come in a compact TOOLS™ size.
