Albrecht Jung was founded in 1912 in Schalksmühle, Germany, and has established itself as a specialist for electrical switches and control systems under the motto "progress as tradition". JUNG’s focus is first and foremost on producing a great variety of products, in order to meet the demands of the market to the best possible extent. The company’s declared goal is to offer its customers from throughout the world a large range of progressive devices and systems, which set standards with their technology, quality, ease of use and, of course, their design. Alongside switches, sockets, dimmers and detectors for all purposes, this extensive range also includes well thought-out systems, which take over specific management tasks in buildings: Light, temperature, blinds and radio control, as well as the intelligent KNX System. Of course, all components for these are available in the various JUNG design ranges so that they can be matched perfectly to one another, ensuring a harmonious overall picture. Top-grade, design-oriented switching programsThe visionary architecture of modern hotels places the highest demands on the design and functionality of electrical installations. JUNG’s hotel installations set the standards in this field: top-grade, design-oriented switching programs, fully thought-out systems, convenient controls of lighting, blinds and temperature, sophisticated KNX technology interlinking complex building functions. Of course all the components can be matched and blended in a stylish design, so that they are harmoniously integrated into the overall architectural concept. That’s why famous, first-class hotels throughout the entire world place their trust in the elegant design and innovative technology from the JUNG company. The top-quality metals used for the individual switch systems are an excellent example: there’s the German luxury hotel Breidenbacher Hof, a Capella hotel on Königsallee in Dusseldorf, which is entirely furnished in chrome and gold, the highlights of this series. This emphasises the exclusive ambience of the hotel. JUNG radio management systemThe interior design of the renowned Ritz-Carlton Hotel in the heart of Moskow also relies on the exceptionally elegant effect of gold. And in the more than 300 guest rooms and suites of the Hyatt Regency in Kiev, the cool elegance and quality of solid stainless steel switches really comes into its own. In addition, the components of the flexible, perfectly retrofit table JUNG radio management system, which control the individual room functions simply and conveniently via radio signal transmission, are used here. KNX SystemThe diverse and convenient possibilities for building control offered by the intelligent KNX System are used throughout the entire building at the tranquil 5 star spa Interalpen Hotel Tyrol in Austria, for example, or in the modern luxury hotel Okura in Amsterdam for its major highlight, the biggest suite in the Benelux countries; "The Suite". This modern technology really leaves no wish unfulfilled, either for the guest or the hotelier. The KNX system makes it possible for the hotel’s technical functions to be monitored and controlled from one central unit. For instance, the reception can set any desired temperature in the hotel room before the guests arrive. Or it is possible to deactivate lighting and air conditioning on a guest’s departure in order to avoid any unnecessary power consumption as a result of equipment inadvertently being left on. Furthermore, KNX allows more flexibility and convenience in every room. Atmospheric lighting and the ideal temperature produce a mood of well-being in the spa area. In conference rooms, lighting and blinds can be regulated at the touch of a control panel, and in bars and restaurants the right music plays in the backgrounds. There are virtually no limits to the possibilities.
