Chief Introduces New Wall Mount for Short Throw Projectors

04 March 2008 11:43

The WPA Wall Mount makes it quick and easy to install short throw projectors

Chief Manufacturing, the industry leader in projector and flat panel TV mounts, is excited to announce the release of the WPA Short Throw Projector Wall Mount for fast and stable installation of short throw projectors.

WPA is packed with innovative features and benefits, focusing on flexibility and ease of installation. A built-in track design allows the projector to be shifted up to 11in (318 mm) to create the ideal image size. The mount includes integrated roll adjustments, post-installation extension adjustments, and quick projector connect/disconnect without tools. Security hardware is also included.

WPA is compatible with all major short throw projectors models, and can be ordered with custom or universal interface. Custom interfaces for Sanyo, Hitachi and Toshiba can be ordered now and will begin shipping in February. When additional pitch adjustments are needed, add Chief’s RPA or RPA Elite Projector Mount to get perfect registration.

SECURITY

Add basic to intermediate security to WPA installations. Chief's RPA Elite with integrated keyed locking provides protection against theft. In high-risk environments, add Chief's HC1 Heavy Duty Cable System, or LC1 Cable Lock.

SHORT THROW PROJECTOR CEILING INSTALLATIONS

For ceiling installations of a short throw projector, use Chief's RPA or RPA Elite Series Projector Mount combined with a CMS390 or CMS391 Ceiling Plate and Extension Column. These ceiling solutions allow installers to adjust projector depths up to 24in (609.6 mm), and can be used with Chief's full line of supporting fixed and adjustable extension columns, in-line adapters, and security accessories.
