Martin Roberts steel doorsets together with CISA smartcard locks from Ingersoll Rand Security Technologies have been used throughout the newly-refurbished Belgrave Hotel at the Oval, London.
As part of the refurbishment, it was decided to replace the internal doors and upgrade the hotel locking system in one go. Ingersoll Rand Security Technologies were able to offer a fully coordinated package of products and services to satisfy all of the requirements.
The steel doorsets were supplied complete with CISA smartcard hotel locks, minimising on-site installation time and costs.
Benefits of steel doorsets include inherent strength, precision engineering and advantages over traditional timber doors, especially in relation to fire, security and acoustics. Now a popular solution in the UK, high performance steel doorsets offer particularly good value for money when life-cycle performance and maintenance costs are taken into account. A timber veneer finish was also specified, complementing the high specification of the hotels interior. Embossed steel wood grain effect finishes are the latest trend, giving the appearance and warmth of timber, whilst providing the strength and security of steel.
CISA smartcard locks were installed, protecting both the guest’s personal security and property, whilst offering the hotel savings in operating costs and enhancing overall hotel security. This modular system is ideal for both small and large hotels. With a built-in validation feature, hotel operators can easily monitor staff efficiency and timekeeping.
