HOSPITALITY FURNITURE

The story of MB starts back in the sixties on the east coast of Italy. Riccione, the town where MB is based, together with nearby Rimini, is at the heart of an area filled with hotels, restaurants and bars. This is a natural location for the development of a company specialised in producing and distributing chairs, tables and stools for the hospitality sector.

Starting from a small workshop, MB grew into a large company comprising today two factories and 40 years of experience in a significant part of the world furniture market.

During the year 2005 MB started a renovation process that has invested mainly two aspects of its operations: products and marketing.

CREATIVE POOL FOR HOSPITALITY FURNITURE DESIGN

On the side of the products, MB has successfully created a pool of designers that have been able to develop ten new families of furniture products in eight months - a process that will steadily develop with the aim to introduce many new furniture products every year for the hospitality industry.

On the marketing side, MB planned a complete restyling campaign that has our hospitality furniture brands reflected in the stands, advertisements, catalogues, website, and in the adoption of several new marketing activities.

HOSPITALITY FURNITURE COLLECTIONS

The offer of MB has been rationalised in four collections, each one with own logo and identity:

• GLAMOUR: a selection of chairs, tables and stools characterised by peculiar design and fine materials - MB's top-end range

• DINAMIC: a large collection of chairs, tables and stools for every and any premise, the mid-range collection

• CONGREX: the collection dedicated to the so-called "congress chairs" also including foldable and modular tables and accessories for conference and banquet purpose

• VOYAGE: the new MB collection of ethnic furniture

CREATIVE TECHNOLOGY FOR FURNITURE DESIGN - VISUAL

MB uses a unique creative opportunity named Visual. Through Visual technology MB transfers digital images on chairs and tables. The image transfer is not accomplished by printing and thus gives a durable and resistant product made unique by the picture put onto it.

Visual can work on table surfaces, chair seats and backs and also on fabric, allowing the creation of wonderful upholstered furniture. Visual is widely used for the creation of fully customised furniture: company logos, colour schemes, patterns, full pictures become part of the furniture that, in turn, becomes a way to advertise, inform, attract.
