The Aruba Marriott Resort & Stellaris Casino recently selected the Onity ADVANCE electronic lock system to help secure its 411 guestrooms as part of an ongoing US$40 million renovation project. The Aruba Marriott resort was listed among the "World's Best Places to Stay" by Conde Nast Traveler's 2006 Gold List. Onity, one of the world’s leading providers of electronic locking solutions, is part of UTC Fire & Security, a unit of United Technologies Corp.
The ADVANCE electronic lock is Onity's latest innovation in security design and technology and offers a wide range of flexibility in both aesthetic design and operational features such as; a unique, modular, two-piece design that minimizes hardware on the guestroom door.
“The safety and well being of our guests is our number one priority," said Richard S Zeolla, General Manager, Aruba Marriott Resort and Stellaris Casino. "The ADVANCE lock system will offer the same level of comfort and be as trustworthy as the former Onity locks we used."
"We chose ADVANCE because of its upgradeable technology and extremely secure design. It is also aesthetically pleasing and the minimal door hardware blends nicely with the overall design of the property," Richard continued.
Patxi Elduayen, Onity hospitality business director EMEA, said: "The Onity ADVANCE electronic lock system provides the highest levels of safety, security and convenience for the Aruba Marriott guests."
