After graduating in Hotel Management at the Thonon-les- Bains Ecole Hôtelière in France, 1974, Yann Caillère began his career in the international hotel arena, before joining Pullman in 1981, where he held various management positions, including General Manager for the Hotel Sofitel in Paris.

In 1995, he joined the Disney resort in Paris, Euro Disney as Chief Executive Officer, Luxury Hotels and Conventions, moving on to become Chief Operating Officer then Chief Executive Officer of the resort.

In October 2004, he joined the Louvre Hôtels Group as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer.

In January 2006, Caillère moved to rival group Accor as its Chief Operating Officer of business in France, Southern Europe, Africa, Middle East and Chief Executive Officer of the Sofitel chain.
