Chateau Mcely

Chateau Mcely was recognised by the prestigious 2008 World Travel Awards in the Green Hotel category as The World's Leading Green Hotel. Prior to this award, in a recent announcement by the European Union, Chateau Mcely was designated the first five-star "Green" and Eco Chic Hotel in the Czech Republic, and only the second one in the entire EU. Chateau Mcely was picked by travel agents and guests from around the world in competition with hotels from all of the major continents. This award to Chateau Mcely demonstrates that five-star luxury service need not be mutually exclusive of respect for the environment and energy efficiency. In fact, Chateau Mcely has found that, though its investments in this area and by educating its staff to participate in and support this effort, being green can be financially profitable.

The Capital

The Capital Hotel & Apartments are a bastion of English good taste, conveniently placed in a quiet residential street in Knightsbridge, London, with the world-renowned stores of Harrods and Harvey Nichols on the doorstep. It is easy to relax at this intimate hotel with its sophisticated charm and courteous staff for whom nothing is too much trouble. Tasteful traditional English décor is reflected in elegant furnishings, antiques and original works of art throughout the hotel. But what really sets The Capital apart is dining in the restaurant where you can find a classic British style of cooking with robust, highly accomplished flavours alongside one of London's finest wine lists. The Capital was created by its Scottish proprietor David Levin in 1969 and is to this day a privately-run family hotel. It has all the advantages of a large establishment, yet exudes the warmth, intimacy and attention to detail, which only a privately owned hotel can afford. It truly is a grand hotel in miniature.
