Hospitality Ventures Management Group (HVMG), a private hotel investment, ownership and management company, has converted the former Hilton Phoenix Suites to a 242-suite Embassy Suites by Hilton Phoenix Downtown North in Arizona.
HVMG acquired the property in 2016 as part of a joint venture. It will continue to operate the property.

HVMG president and CEO Robert Cole said: “Our familiarity with the market and hotel provided us the insight to realize both the property and our guests would benefit from a full reimagining.
“With properties in California, Colorado, Texas and Oklahoma, we continue to invest heavily West of the Mississippi in hotels in markets with barriers to new entry that can benefit from repositioning, as well as our proprietary management and marketing systems.”
The hotel, which is located at 10 East Thomas Road, is next to the Thomas/Central Metro Light Rail Station, thereby making it accessible to Chase Field, Talking Stick Arena and Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport.
Its suites provide separate private sleeping and living spaces, Wi-Fi and 55-inch flat-screen televisions.
