Hawaii Reserves has received approval from Honolulu City Council for the construction of a $35m Courtyard by Marriott hotel on North Shore, Oahu, Hawaii.
The 222-room project will include a swimming pool, a restaurant and banquet facilities on 9.84 acres.
Construction of the project is expected to take 14-16 months.
Hawaii Reserves president and chairman Eric Beaver said the project is being planned and designed by Group 70 International, but the company is also considering involving a developer.
