Luxury Collection Launches Door-to-Door Luggage Service

The Luxury Collection Hotels and Resorts has launched a signature luggage system for guests, transferring luggage from home to hotel room – even going as far as unpacking it if requested.

In partnership with Luggage Forward, the Luxury Collection's luggage liaison service, baggage will be retrieved by a door-to-door luggage delivery service prior to departure and sent to the hotel to be placed in the room and unpacked before the guest arrives.

The service will allow guests to avoid carrying bags to and from the airport, bypass long check-in lines or the wait at baggage claim, eliminate the worry about lost luggage or having to pay luggage weight coverage fees on flights, the Starwood-owned chain says.

Guests may use Luggage Liaison again for their return trip, including delivery of any purchases made during the trip.
