Trident Hilton Hotels has dropped the Hilton, rebranding itself as Trident.
The rebranded hotels are located in Gurgaon (Delhi National Capital Region), Agra, Jaipur, Udaipur, Cochin, Bhubaneswar and Chennai in India.
Hilton Towers in Mumbai will also be called Trident, Nariman Point, Mumbai.
The rebranding was undertaken after the Oberoi Group terminated its alliance with Hilton International Co.
