The Royal High School in Edinburgh, Scotland, could soon be converted into an arts hotel.
The plans by Edinburgh City Council is part of the World Heritage site located on Calton Hill.
The landmark structure was expected to house the Scottish Parliament, but the site has been vacant for four decades.
The hotel will house a restaurant, cafe and a public gallery space for temporary exhibitions.
