Construction work is in progress at the Fairmont Zimbali Hotel in Ballito, South Africa, and it is expected to have a soft launch in mid-May this year ahead of the FIFA World Cup.
The R400m ($53.8m) hotel, featuring 156 rooms, will have a grand launch after the World Cup, according to iol.co.za.
In August 2009, contractors Liviero Building halted construction on the site over a R18m ($2.4m) payment row with the Kuwait-based developers IFA Hotels and Resorts.
