Hilton opens Hilton Astana in Kazakhstan


Global hospitality company Hilton has opened hotel Hilton Astana, its first hotel property in Kazakhstan region.

Hilton Astana is a 253-room hotel that is located next to Silk Way, which is reported to be the largest shopping mall in Astana and offers transportation links to top attractions in the city.

Hilton brand management regional head Andreas Lackner said: "Hilton is committed to providing our signature hospitality in the places that matter most to travellers, which is why we are so pleased to introduce the brand's first hotel in Astana.

"Astana recently hosted Expo 2017, raising its profile internationally and setting the scene for the city for years to come.

“While already recognized as a key business and MICE destination, travellers to Astana can also marvel at the city's impressive futuristic architecture and visit a range of cultural attractions including the Palace of Peace and Reconciliation, the Independence Palace and the Batirek Monument."

Hilton Astana offers a wide range of amenities including 4,000mt2 of events space, comprising nine meeting rooms and a ballroom that can host up to 900 people.

It also features a spa, an indoor swimming pool, a 24-hour fitness centre, nine treatment rooms, saunas and a Turkish bath suitable for local and international travellers to Kazakhstan's capital city.

The hotel offers a wide-range of dining options to its guest serving traditional Kazakh dishes and European cuisine and a rooftop bar.
