SB Yen Management Group has completed more than $15m renovation of Holiday Inn Chicago North – Evanston hotel near the NorthWestern University campus and downtown Evanston, Illinois, US.
The 159-room family owned and operated property features a meeting space covering an area of 6,000ft², an executive boardroom and a ballroom that can accommodate up to 300 guests.

The Holiday Inn Chicago North – Evanston was acquired by SB Yen Management in 1992.
Built on a site along Chicago's North Shore, just four blocks away from Lake Michigan and Northwestern University, the hotel is located close to downtown Chicago sightseeing, tours, museums, restaurants and shopping.
Amenities offered include free high-speed internet access, outdoor swimming pool, business centre, wireless internet access and fitness centre.

Commenting on the hotel’s location, Yen said: “What a great place for a hotel! Northwestern is not moving, nor is the Lake or the North Shore.”

FitzGerald designed renovations to the hotel’s entrance, lobby, common areas, fitness room, and pool deck.

The company’s flagship property, the Whitehall Hotel, is located close to North Michigan Avenue.
