Hyatt Hotels has announced its plans to launch several new hotels worldwide under various brands in Tokyo, Morocco, Thailand, India and the US.
The group has signed an agreement with Mori Building to launch the first Andaz brand property in Japan, in Tokyo.
The boutique-style hotel, which will open in 2014, will be the ninth Hyatt property in the country and the fourth in the capital city.
Hyatt already manages two properties owned by Mori Building - Park Hyatt Shanghai and Grand Hyatt Tokyo.
The group will manage a Hyatt Place hotel in Taghazout, Morocco, from late 2014, under an agreement signed with Societe d'Aménagement et de Promotion de la Station de Taghazout (SAPST). Park Hyatt Marrakech, announced earlier, will open in 2013.
A new Hyatt Place hotel will also open in Bangkok, Thailand, in 2017.
The property, owned by real estate firm Pioneer Property, will be the third pipeline property of the group in the capital after Hyatt Regency Bangkok, Sukhumvit, which is planned to open in 2017, and Park Hyatt Bangkok, scheduled to open in 2014.
The hotel group announced the opening the first Hyatt Place property in India, in Hampi, Karnataka, last week.
