The hotel’s all day dining restaurant will be renovated with a destination bar, terrace and garden.

It will also feature a spa and fitness centre, the new floodlit tennis courts, new lap pool and the new kid’s play area.

IHG India, Middle East and Africa chief operating officer Pascal Gauvin said: "The refurbishment of InterContinental Muscat will bring the hotel to new levels and we are confident it will deliver greater luxury experiences for our guests when the works complete."
