Marriott International has expanded its AC Hotels portfolio with three new properties in Spain, Turkey and Israel.

The 91-room AC Hotel Colón Valencia in Spain is the brand’s second property in the city and 60th in the country.

The hotel, which will run under a management contract with AC Hotel La Carolina SL, will feature an AC Lounge & Bistro restaurant, three meeting rooms, fitness centre, business centre and a terrace.

The 98-room AC Hotel Istanbul Maçka in Turkey is operated under a franchise agreement with Tans Turizm ve Otelcilik.

It features an AC lounge & Bistro restaurant, three meeting rooms, fitness centre, sauna and two treatment rooms as well as a market.

The AC Hotel Herzliya in Israel is still under construction and is expected to open in January 2016.

It will feature an AC Lounge with a sea view, Bistro restaurant, separate bar, lobby with library wall and 23m ceilings, outdoor pool and pool bar overlooking the beach, and two meeting rooms.

Marriott said the hotel’s design concept by Dana Oberson architects draws inspiration from its location in Herzliya.

The company added that a combination of beige and blue, terrazzo and concrete flooring, iron, brass and wood elements create an urban marina atmosphere in the public spaces that continues through to the guest rooms.
