US-based Nemacolin Woodlands Resort, which features 318 rooms, has completed its $30m property-wide renovation.
Spread over an area of 2,000 acres, transformation of the resort’s 263 guest rooms commenced in December 2013, while work on the 32,000ft² conference centre began in the fall of 2014.

Each of the 124 Chateau rooms are now equipped with new windows, carpeting, furnishings and drapery and linens, adopting a new, colour scheme of spearmint, salmon and celadon.
The uniquely designed Presidential Suite is located on the Club Floor of the Chateau Lafayette and was redecorated with $1m investment.
Guest service upgrades included a phone integration solution featuring coloured touchscreen applications, Smart Card room entry technology and wake-up service coffee stations designed on each floor of the lodge.

The resort’s 4,080ft² ballroom was upgraded with Baccarat Chandeliers, retractable wall systems, wood refurbishing, velvet drapery and lux wool carpeting.

By GlobalDataAccording to Nemacolin, the renovation also included upgrade of the room’s attached patio, which saw an addition of extra 2,200ft² and the rebuilding of the resort’s 200-seat Lecture Hall.
Nemacolin Woodlands Resort general manager Chris Plummer said: "Now that the renovations are complete, the overall transformation of the resort is truly stunning.
"Corporate events make up 52% of our business; therefore, improving our meeting space options and event amenities for our guests were important factors during the renovation project."
Upgrades were also made to the Nemacolin and Sequoia spaces, Club Room, Hardy Boardroom and Joseph’s. Outdoor spaces such as the Lafayette Gardens and Plaza Deck were improved with hardscaping, outdoor furniture and landscape features.
Pittsburgh based resort also unveiled a four-room Holistic Healing Center, Holistic Garden and a 3,000ft long duelling zipline at its Adventure Center.
