US-based Pacifica Companies will invest $10m in renovating its recently acquired La Valencia hotel in San Diego, California, US.
Renovation work on the 112-room property's guestrooms, restaurant, meeting space and spa will begin later this year.
Pacifica, which owns 40 hotels, paid $41m for the property.
La Valencia is a member of Preferred Hotels and Resorts Worldwide and National Trust Historic Hotels of America.
