The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Marriott International, has unveiled its first hotel in Israel, The Ritz-Carlton, Herzliya.

Located in Tel Aviv’s water-front leisure destination Herzliya, the new hotel is said to represent the country’s first 21st century ‘Urban Resort’.

The Ritz-Carlton, Herzliya features 115 rooms, 82 suites and residences with interiors based on the Mediterranean coastline and offering sweeping sea views.

According to Ritz-Carlton, the property also features a collection of artwork across the hotel centred on an original video-art piece by Ayal Landseman, commissioned for the lobby area.

The Ritz-Carlton president and chief operations officer Herve Humler said it is a privilege to bring the group’s service to Israel.

"The Ritz-Carlton service philosophy will be brought to life by a committed team of Israeli ladies and gentlemen at our 85th hotel," Humler added.

The property offers a fitness centre and rooftop pool offering a 360° view of the Mediterranean coast and the sandy beaches of Herzliya.

The Ritz-Carlton Spa features an outdoor terrace, couples treatment rooms and a Turkish Hammam, while offering a range of beauty and body therapies including Ritz-Carlton signature therapies and Shiseido treatments.

Business facilities offered at the hotel include a ballroom, which is located at the lobby level, and two boardrooms, all of which are said to be suitable for business meetings as well as gatherings.
