Hong Kong-based Shangri-La Asia has signed an agreement with Chinese real estate company Huayuan Real Estate Beijing to open a new hotel in Changsha, south-central China.
The 460-room Shangri-La Hotel, Changsha will open in 2015 and will be operated by Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts.
The hotel will feature a restaurant, a bar and lobby lounge, an indoor swimming pool, a spa and a health club.
Its meeting and banqueting facilities will include a 2,000m² ballroom, a 500m² junior ballroom and ten function rooms.
Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts has a room inventory of over 30,000 from 72 hotels under the Shangri-La, Kerry and Traders brands.
