The Banyan Tree Phuket is located in Bang Tao Bay on the north-western coast of Phuket, Thailand. The eco-friendly resort stands on the site of a former pewter mine and has restored the natural elements of the area.

The resort includes 150 villas, eight restaurants and bars, four meeting rooms, a dedicated spa and fitness facility and an 18-hole golf club.

Villas

The resort’s villas are set between the Andaman Sea and a saltwater lagoon. The two-bed, double-pool villas open out to a private pool and have a dining patio. The double-pool villas have tropical fragrant gardens, a tropical-style wade pool and an outdoor sala.

The secluded 24 pool villas are located against the backdrop of Bang Tao Bay and have the same amenities as the double-pool villas. The villas come with a dining and living area, two bedroom suites, a kitchenette and a meditation sala with poolside terrace. Guests can relax in a private swimming pool, outdoor jet pool and open-air sunken bath.

The spa pool villas have a floating bed pavilion on a lily pond. The pavilion has a king-sized bed draped in Thai silk with a canopy ceiling made of soft fabrics. The villa features a dedicated in-villa spa that offers complimentary massages. The villa also comes with a private pool, jet pool, an outdoor shower and a sunken bath.

The deluxe villas have landscaped gardens encircling an open-air jet pool and a timber sundeck. The villas have a large bedroom and an en-suite bathroom with separate his-and-hers private dressing areas.

The resort provides an exclusive dining experience for two people underneath a banyan tree, overlooking the lagoon, accompanied by Thai music.
