The Hyatt Regency Danang Resort and Spa is a five-star resort opened in November 2011. It is located in 20ha that stretches 650m along China Beach in Danang city, Vietnam. It is easily accessible to guests from several international destinations as it is located near the Danang International Airport.

The resort was developed by Indochina Land, which is a division of Indochina Capital Corporation, and is managed by Hyatt Hotels & Resorts. More than $130m was invested in the development of the resort.

Accommodation at the Hyatt Regency Danang Resort and Spa

The accommodation at the resort includes 200 guest rooms, 174 condominiums and 27 luxury three-bedroom villas. The guest rooms are categorised into King rooms, Twin rooms, Ocean View king, Ocean View twin, Club Pool View King and Club Pool View Twin.

The guest rooms measure 42m² in area. The suites include the 84m² Regency suite, the 126m² Regency Executive suite and the 168m² Presidential suites.

The resort also has 27 three-bedroom villas measuring 307m² in area, with amenities such as a private pool, full kitchen and complimentary wireless Internet access. The villas also feature two king and two twin beds.

The resort has 174 residences categorised into three types. The single-bedroom residences measure between 65m² and 82m² in area, two-bedroom residences are spread over 100m² to 126m² in area and three-bedroom residences range between 165m² and 197m² in area.

In-room amenities and luxuries

The guest room amenities at the resort include a balcony, enhanced work desk lighting, work station, marble bath, DVD player, hairdryer, robes, 24-hour room service and individual air conditioning control. It also includes safes to store and charge laptops, high speed internet access, stereo system, private concierge and a mini bar.

Spa and private treatments

The resort features a VIE Spa with ten private treatment rooms. The treatment rooms include eight single and two double rooms. The spa provides signature treatments and traditional and innovative therapies.

Meeting and conference facilities

The resort is facilitated with more than 900m² of meeting space. The Regency Ballroom accommodates up to 400 guests. Seven more function halls accommodate up to 40 to 80 guests each.

All the meeting rooms are facilitated with sophisticated audio visual equipment and high speed internet access. A convention centre with 500m² Banquet Hall is also available. In addition, there is a Grand Ballroom which can accommodate up to 200 guests for special events and a 186m² pre-function area.

Restaurants at the newly opened five-star resort

The resort has four restaurants and a bar. The Beach House restaurant, located on the beach, offers Vietnamese seafood. The Green House restaurant offers authentic Vietnamese and Western dishes. The Pool House restaurant, located near the main resort pool, offers both indoor and outdoor seating.

Baguette is a bakery that offers pizzas, cakes, sandwiches and pastries. Terrasse is a lounge bar that offers many varieties of beverages.

Contractors involved in the luxury Vietnamese resort and spa

In June 2009, RMJM of Singapore provided the lead design for the resort. Diana Simpson Design of Australia provided the interior designs.

The landscape designs were provided by Site Concepts International, based in the UK, and the restaurants at the resort were designed by Studio Daminato of Singapore.

The resort includes a fitness centre, an 18-hole golf course, swimming pools, tennis courts and badminton courts.

It also includes Camp Hyatt, which offers numerous activities for children and younger guests.
