Quadriga, the hospitality industry’s second largest integrator of in-room entertainment systems and network applications, announced that David Goldstone has joined the company as Group Sales Director.

Mr Goldstone brings to Quadriga 18 years of industry experience, including most recently six years as vice president of sales and hotel relations with LodgeNet Entertainment, where he led the sales and account management of LodgeNet’s 1.6 million room base. Prior to LodgeNet, Mr Goldstone served as group vice president of sales for On Command Corp and national sales manager for Panasonic, where he led television sales for the hospitality industry.

Mr Goldstone will oversee global sales efforts for Quadriga Worldwide, which includes active IPTV and HSIA installations in more than 50 countries. Mr Goldstone brings an extensive background in developing, managing and leading sales teams whose focus is on marketing specific products tailored to the hospitality industry. He was awarded the American Hotel & Lodging Association’s prestigious John Whitaker Award in 2011 for his dedication to and innovation within the hotel industry.

"We are very excited to have David become part of our growing team of industry leaders," said Quadriga CEO Roger Taylor. "David will be an integral part of helping define and introduce our suite of technology solutions to the global hospitality market, accelerate our growth worldwide, and cement our relationships with the major hotel groups."

Quadriga’s portfolio of services is centred on networks, internet, multimedia and technology platforms. The company introduced its Personal Media Network™ at Hitec 2012 in Baltimore. Its PMN™ service creates a synchronised network where devices and content are unified by a single application, which enables hoteliers to literally open up an unlimited amount of service and entertainment options to their hotel guests.

"It is very exciting to join a company that is introducing such an array of new services and products for the hotel industry," said Mr Goldstone. "Our industry has long searched for a way to unify existing services and platforms with new technology and devices that the hotel guest is bringing with them. I believe these services will greatly change the landscape of our industry, and I am looking forward to being a part of the introduction to the market."
