The Body Shop Enters the Amenities Market

In November 2012 The Body Shop, global ethical beauty brand, entered the amenity market for the first time. Pacific Direct is delighted to assist The Body Shop with this move as the authorised distributor for The Body Shop amenities globally.

The Body Shop has launched an aspirational new beauty movement called Beauty With Heart. Beauty With Heart places unprecedented emphasis on a beauty experience that is much more than skin-deep. Through the Beauty With Heart movement the Body Shop is putting a very human stamp on beauty; empowering consumers the world over to not only look good but to feel good, and do good through using the brand’s products.

The Shea Body Range

Luxurious and creamy textures envelop the skin to soften, soothe and moisturise for up to 24 hours. Made with Community Fair Trade shea butter from Ghana.

Shea is one of nature’s great moisturisers suitable for the driest of skin. You will also find other skin loving Community Fair Trade ingredients in the range; babassu oil from Brazil and sesame oil from Nicaragua.

The Rainforest Hair Care Range

The Body Shop’s first Eco-Conscious hair care range Shine Shampoo and Conditioner leaves hair revitalised with renewed shine. The range is infused with Community Fair Trade olive oil from Italy, organic aloe vera from Guatemala, honey from Ethiopia and organic sugar cane from Paraguay. The range also contains organic praxaci oil which is grown in the Amazonian rainforest.This range meets The Body Shop’s Eco-conscious standard – respectful to the aquatic environment, meets strict biodegradability standards, and minimises the use of non sustainable packaging resources. In addition it’s free from silicones, parabens, colourants and sulphates.

Liquids available in 30ml or 60ml and Shea Soaps in 30g or 60g.
