Management Occupations, with a share of 18%, emerged as the top corporate governance-related job roles within the travel and tourism industry in Q4 2023, with new job postings drop by 10% quarter-on-quarter. Office and Administrative Support Occupations came in second with a share of 15% in Q4 2023, with new job postings rising by 6% over the previous quarter.

The top companies, in terms of number of new job postings tracked by GlobalData, as of Q4 2023 were Hilton Grand Vacations, Hilton Worldwide, Star Entertainment Group, Accor, and American Airlines Group. Together they accounted for a combined share of 42% of all corporate governance-related new jobs in the travel and tourism industry.
Hilton Grand Vacations posted 519 corporate governance-related new jobs in Q4 2023, Hilton Worldwide 345 jobs, Star Entertainment Group 248 jobs, Accor 225 jobs, and American Airlines Group 190 jobs, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics.
Hiring activity was driven by the US with a 57.24% share of total new job postings, Q4 2023
The largest share of corporate governance-related new job postings in the travel and tourism industry in Q4 2023 was in the US with 57.24% followed by Australia (7.67%) and the UK (4.92%). The share represented by the US was three percentage points lower than the 60.04% share it accounted for in Q3 2023.
