The company’s overall hiring activity declined by 5.73% in June 2021 when compared with May 2021.
IT jobs claimed a 31.24% share in the company’s total hiring activity in June 2021, and recorded a 3.89% growth over the last three-month average share.
Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers tops International Game Technology IT hiring in June 2021
Out of the total IT job titles posted by International Game Technology, Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 67.21% in June 2021, and a 5.13% growth over May 2021, while Database and Network Administrators and Architects claimed a share of 11.48% in June 2021, and registered a flat growth. Computer and Information Analysts held a share of 9.84% in June 2021, a flat growth from May 2021.
Europe drives IT hiring at International Game Technology
Europe emerged as the leading region in the global travel & tourism IT hiring activity in June 2021 with a 50.82% share, which marked a 24% growth over the previous month.
North America stood next with 45.9%, registering a flat month-on-month growth. Asia-Pacific was the third leading region with a 3.28% share and a 33.33% drop over May 2021.
The US commanded a leading presence in the region’s travel & tourism industry IT hiring activity with a 29.51% share in June 2021, a 14.29% decline over May 2021. Poland featured next with a 14.75% share, up 350% over the previous month.France recorded a 14.75% share, an increase of 80% compared with May 2021.

Junior Level jobs held a share of 67.21%, flat growth from May 2021. Mid Level positions with a 16.39% share, a growth of 66.67% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with 16.39% share, flat growth over May 2021.
