Cashless stadiums have become increasingly popular in Europe over the last decade, but the US has resisted adoption... until the season opened for the Wichita Wingnuts at Lawrence-Dumont Stadium. Leading the team for the cashless transition was Chicago-based Total Venue Control, a marketing and operations company specialising in 'smart card' payment solutions. They were joined by Juniper Networks, Game Time Food & Beverage Services, EZ Pay, and wireless design specialist Renaissance Network Solutions.
