2. Egypt – 7.9 million arrivals

According to GlobalData’s traveller demands & flows database, Egypt will be the second most popular destination in Africa, welcoming 7.9 million arrivals. GlobalData predicts that Germany, Saudi Arabia and Israel will be the largest source markets for the destination in 2022.

3. South Africa – 6.8 million arrivals

Expected to welcome 6.8 million international arrivals in 2022, South Africa will be the third most popular destination in Africa, according to GlobalData. Zimbabwe, Lesotho and Mozambique are forecast to be the largest source markets for South Africa in 2022.

4. Tunisia – 6.1 million arrivals

According to GlobalData’s traveller demands & flows database, Tunisia will be the fourth most popular destination in Africa, welcoming 6.1 million arrivals. Furthermore, GlobalData predicts that Algeria, Libya and France will be the largest source markets for the destination in 2022.
