Hotel developer and operator Borealis Hotel Group and hotel management firm Cycas Hospitality have entered strategic partnership to open and operate new hotels in Europe.

As part of the partnership’s first phase, the two hotel companies have signed a management agreement under which, Cycas was selected to open and operate the converted Motto by Hilton Rotterdam Blaak.

Slated to open in mid-2022, the 108-room hotel previously served as a bank.

Motto by Hilton Rotterdam Blaak represents the European debut for the urban lifestyle brand and the opening of its first hotel in the Netherlands.

The hotel will house innovative food and beverage offerings to serve a range of travellers.

It is located 350m from Rotterdam Blaak metro station and 1.4km from Rotterdam Centraal Station providing convenient access to the city’s major attractions. The airport is just 8km from the property.

In addition to this, Cycas agreed to manage a second new hotel. Details of the development will be announced in 2022.
