American hospitality company Hyatt Hotels has launched its Andaz brand in Austria with the opening of Andaz Vienna Am Belvedere hotel in the European country.

The property, located in the new Quartier Belvedere, is the fourth Andaz branded hotel in Europe and second Hyatt hotel in Austria.

The other three Andaz branded hotels are Andaz London Liverpool Street, Andaz Amsterdam Prinsengracht and Andaz Munich Schwabinger Tor.

Showcasing modern art and design, Andaz Vienna Am Belvedere is inspired by Prince Eugene of Savoy, the country’s historic personality and the person behind the Belvedere Palace.

The hotel offers easy access to historical landmarks, such as the Belvedere Palace and the Botanical Gardens, and is located close to Vienna’s main train station.

Architect Renzo Piano and interior designers Claudio Carbone and Gabriel Kacerovsky have collaborated on the project.
