Construction work on $326m Hilton Yas Bay Hotel in the UAE is 93% complete and is on track to open later this year.

This update was announced during the visit of Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, member of the executive council and chairman of Abu Dhabi Executive Office to Yas Bay development.

The 546-key hotel, which will feature a beach club, is being constructed by a joint venture between SANJOSE Contracting and Fibrex Construction, in Yas Island.

The five-star hotel at Yas Bay will offer access to The Waterfront’s several entertainment and nightlife attractions, including 37 F&B outlets and 19 retail stores.

Miral is the developer of the $1.1bn Yas Bay development.

Earlier, speaking about the property, Miral chief portfolio officer BR Kiran was quoted by Hotelier Middle East as saying: “We are proud to announce our partnership with Hilton which represents another milestone in our journey to establish Yas Island as a top global destination.
