American hospitality company Drury Hotels Company has collaborated with Ecolab to improve hygiene and safety protocols.

As agreed, Drury will use Ecolab products to carry out disinfecting procedures across its 150 hotels across the country.

Drury Hotels chief human resources officer Alison Casler said: “The Covid-19 pandemic has heightened people’s awareness of the spread of germs and the need for increased sanitisation.

“Our Travel Happy Again, Clean + Safe initiatives, solidified by our partnership with Ecolab, have allowed us to confidently deliver a higher level of cleanliness and safety for our guests and team members.”

Founded in 1973, Drury Hotels is a family-owned and operated hotel system. Its mid-scale limited service hotels are located across 27 states.

Due to heightened concerns on cleanliness following the pandemic, the company has also decided to revise its check-in procedure to limit contact.
