The first Residence Inn hotel by Marriott International has made its debut in the northern area of Merida, Yucatan, Mexico.

The hotel features 151 suites that have fully equipped kitchens that range between 40m2 and 78m2, offering a new option in the longer stays segment.

Said to be pet-friendly, the hotel also provides amenities including complimentary grocery delivery service, a 24-hour market, a common laundry room, and an advanced fitness facility.

Among other features, the property also includes nearly 80m2 of naturally lit meeting space with built-in multimedia technology.

These meeting rooms can seat up to 50 people and have dedicated space for gatherings like meals, one-on-one meetings, and breakout sessions among others.

Residence Inn Merida is said to offer travellers with access to Yucatan region’s heritage, culture, and cuisine.
