Hyatt Place has opened the doors of its new property in Kathmandu, Nepal, continuing the brand’s expansion in markets around the world.

Hyatt Place Kathmandu is owned by City Hotel executive director Akshay Golyan and chairman Shakti Golyan.

It is under the leadership of general manager Varun Talwar and sales and marketing head Achint Rastogi.

The property is located 4km from the city centre and other tourist destinations including the sacred Hindu temple in Pashupatinath.

It has 153 guestrooms that feature separate sleep, work and play spaces, complementary Wi-Fi throughout the hotel and an advanced fitness centre equipped with cardio equipment and LCD touchscreen.

Dining venues include Breakfast Bar, Zing World of Flavors, Zing Sky Bar & Lounge, The Market and The Bar that serves specialty coffees and premium beers.
