Accor luxury lifestyle hospitality brand Hyde Hotels, Resorts & Residences has revealed plans to open its new property in Dubai.

Planned to open in late 2021, the property in Dubai Business Bay will be the brand’s first hotel outside the US. It will also be the fifth property under the Hyde brand.

The five-star Hyde Hotel Dubai hotel will have 276 rooms, which will be a mix of standard rooms and luxurious suites.

All the rooms will feature balconies and offer views of Dubai Canal, the Dubai skyline and the Burj Khalifa.

The culinary experiences at Hyde Hotel Dubai include the Mediterranean concept, Cleo Mediterráneo, contemporary Japanese from Katsuya, Hudson Tavern hand-crafted burgers and The Perq, a coffee concept.

The hotel will also feature, a lobby lounge, Hyde pool and lounge, a spa, salon for both male and female, a swimming pool and retail area.

Additionally, the hotel will boast five meeting rooms, a function hall and fitness centre.

Architectural solution provider Ciarmoli Queda Studio will design the hotel’s public areas, guestrooms and Cleo, while interior architect Tristan Plessis Studio will design Katsuya, Hudson Tavern and Hyde pool and lounge.

The property is being developed in partnership with owner Emerald Palace Group (EPG).

EPG Group owner Dr Mkhitaryan said: “No expense is being spared in the construction and décor, and we are confident that our guests will appreciate the attention that’s been paid to every last detail.

Last month, Accor said it will open Raffles resort on the Palm Dubai in the fourth quarter of this year as it continues its expansion in the Middle East region.

In 2020, the French hospitality giant took full ownership of sbe hotel brands including the Delano, Mondrian, SLS, and Hyde.

It also reached a new partnership with London-based hospitality firm Ennismore to form a joint venture.

Earlier this month, Accor IMEA selected Infor SaaS management solution for deployment in its hotels in the Middle East.
