Hospitality firm IHG Hotels & Resorts and First Inn Group have introduced the Staybridge Suites hotel brand to Wales with the opening of a new property in Cardiff.

Located on Cardiff Bay’s Atlantic Wharf, Staybridge Suites Cardiff is the first property in Wales and eighth hotel in the UK.
The pet-friendly hotel offers 73 one-bedroom suites featuring fully equipped kitchens, free Wi-Fi, living areas and working spaces that are both comfortable and flexible.
Other guest amenities include free on-site laundry facilities, parking, and an advanced gym centre.
Additionally, the hotel features an onsite shop, The Pantry, which offers foods and daily essentials items.

Staybridge Suites Cardiff is a 30-minute drive from Cardiff International Airport and just a mile from Cardiff Central Cardiff Railway.
Various sports venues such as Glamorgan Cricket Ground, Cardiff City Stadium and the Principality Stadium are located close to the hotel.
As of 30 June, the portfolio had 312 hotels open worldwide including seven Staybridge Suites hotels in UK cities such as London, Liverpool, Birmingham, Dundee, and Newcastle.
Last year, IHG opened Staybridge Suites Dubai Al Maktoum Airport, strengthening its presence in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
