Langham Hospitality has strengthened its position in China with the opening of a new hotel in Hunan province’s Changsha city.

Located inside Da Wang Shan Resort, the hotel is designed by architect Wolf Prix of Coop Himmelblau.

It is the group’s 13th hotel in Chinau and the 25th property in its global portfolio.

Langham Place, Changsha hotel features 295 guest rooms and suites equipped with The Langham’s famous bed and French windows.

The property’s deluxe rooms occupy a space of 36m2, and the Presidential Suite spans an area of 255m2. It also offers executive two-bedroom suites.

It is equipped with amenities, such as a fully equipped fitness centre, an indoor swimming pool and spa treatment room and more to cater to the needs of business and leisure travellers.

Langham Place, Changsha also offers more than 2,000m2 space to conduct conferences and events, including a 1,100m2 pillar-less Grand Ballroom and a 360m2 independent pre-function room, named as the Yuelu Ballroom.

Guests can enjoy three dining concepts at the hotel, including an all-day dining restaurant, called The Place, Ming Court for fine-dining experience and the Peak bar for pre-dinner drinks, after-hours cocktail.

The Place restaurant offers a buffet selection and an à la carte menu presenting international cuisines.

In addition, customers can enjoy English afternoon tea at The Salon.
