Mandarin Oriental has announced a management agreement for the new Mandarin Oriental hotel and branded residences in Brickell Key, Miami.
Expected to open in 2030, the Residences at Mandarin Oriental, Miami and the Mandarin Oriental, Miami are part of the One Island Drive development, which will comprise two interconnected towers.
Swire Properties, a joint-venture partner of Mandarin Oriental at the current Mandarin Oriental, will be developing the project.
Designed by Kohn Pederson Fox, the new hotel will comprise 151 guestrooms, including 28 hotel residences, 61 private residences and 60 suites.
The hotel interiors will be designed by Parisian designer Laura Gonzales, while Thai company Shma will craft the landscape architecture throughout the property.
The Mandarin Oriental hotel will offer guests a diverse selection of restaurants and bars, a spa, along with meeting and event space.

By GlobalDataA standalone tower, which will be located adjacent to the hotel, will house 220 residences, ranging from two to four bedrooms, along with two exclusive penthouses.

Recently, the company also unveiled plans to open its third hotel in London in 2028.
