Hoteles City Express announced the opening of City Express Suites Tijuana Rio and City Express Santiago Aeropuerto in Mexico and Chile, respectively.
With these openings, Hoteles City Express has 113 hotels in operation with 12,682 rooms across 69 cities in 29 states of Mexico, Columbia, Costa Rica and Chile.

City Express Suites Tijuana Rio has 79 rooms available, which are operated under a management contract. It also extends the City of Express Suites brand in the state of Baja California.
City Express claimed that Tijuana has a unique characteristic of strong occupancy levels and diverse demand generators such as industry, maquila, services, commerce and tourism.
The opening of the City Express Santiago Aeropuerto marks the company’s plans to expand outside of Mexico. This is a co-owned property with 142 rooms being available.
City Express says that it will be focused on meeting lodging demand due to its close proximity to international airport and industrial parks in the surrounding areas.
