Hotel Okura subsidiary Okura Nikko Hotel Management has announced that Hotel JAL City Toyama will be opened in Japan in 2022.

The new hotel will be located in front of Toyama station, which is served by the Hokuriku Shinkansen with direct connections to Nagano and Tokyo.

Located at Takara-machi 1, the 10-floor hotel will have a total floor space of 9,600m² and will offer nearly 250 guest rooms as well as all-day dining facilities, a bar and a library.

The average guest room area will be 25m², with twin-bed rooms ranging from 26m² to 31m² in size and double-bed rooms of 21m².

The new hotel will also provide a range of digital devices to the guests.

Nishimatsu Construction sees a long-term future for the hotel, and plans to use its know-how from the planning and design stages.

The day-to-day operation of the hotel is expected to be looked after by Okura Nikko Hotel Management due to its vast network of properties in Japan and overseas.
