US-based hospitality management company Pyramid Global Hospitality has taken over management of the Wayfinder Newport hotel in Newport, Rhode Island
Pyramid Global continues a long-standing association with the property owner Dovetail + Co and also notes that it has immediate plans to refurbish and revitalise the 197-key property.

Pyramid Global Hospitality chief investment officer Chris Devine said: “We are pleased to welcome the Wayfinder Newport to Pyramid Global’s Luxury and Lifestyle collection of world-renowned properties and to extend our footprint into the beautiful state of Rhode Island.

The Wayfinder Newport, which debuted in 2020, is a boutique hotel created in collaboration with local chefs, bartenders, artists, designers and entrepreneurs to offer homage to this region.

By GlobalDataIt intends to reopen a portion of the hotel in the coming months and the rest of the hotel towards the end of the year.
