By Paul Dennis

6 August

Globally, the total confirmed cases of Covid-19 have reached over 18,837,000 with over 708,000 deaths and 11,381,000 recoveries.

World wide, cases continue to rise, with the US, Brazil, and India remaining the top three most affected countries.

The death toll also continues to grow with the US having over 158,000 deaths and Brazil nearing 100,000.

Iran continues to see a sustained infection period with around 2,500 new cases being diagnosed each day since mid-June.

Iran initially had seemed to have control over the virus spread as new confirmed cases rapidly declined through April.
