GlobalData Epidemiologist Report: Global Covid-19 cases pass 19.9 million – India reports more than 2 million cases but has fewer deaths than UK

Globally, the total confirmed cases of Covid-19 have reached over 19,902,000, with more than 731,000 deaths and 12,127,000 recoveries.

World wide, cases continue to rise, the US now has more than 5 milllion total confirmed cases, and remains the country with the highest number of cases, globally.

Mexico continues to see an increase on cases and has the third-highest death toll of the pandemic with more than 52,000 total deaths.

India reported a more than 1,000 death toll on Sunday, the second highest death toll reported in the country since the start of the pandemic.

India is reporting more new daily cases than the US and Brazil, but is also conducting more tests than those countries.
