Globally, the total confirmed cases of Covid-19 have reached over 38,200,000 with over 1,087,000 deaths and 26,507,000 recoveries.

The US, India, and Brazil remain the top three most heavily affected countries worldwide, accounting for 53% of the world’s total confirmed cases.

The US has seen a steady rise in cases since September, which is now being driven by Midwestern states, such as, Wisconsin, Ohio and Missouri.

Countries across Europe continue to impose tighter restrictions in an effort to contain the spread of Covid-19.

With rising cases seen in the Czech Republic and the Netherlands, partial lockdowns have been introduced in these regions.

Over the weekend, 12 new locally transmitted cases were reported in Qingdao, China.

Following a push for batch testing by the Chinese health authorities, 7.5 million people have now been tested in Qingdao with no new cases discovered.
